A VISIT TO BAHRAIN
Bahrain is a small emirate off the coast of Saudi Arabia on the Arabian Gulf (Persian Gulf to those not from here). It is a modern, liberal Arab state that is fun to visit.  Our first trip there was about a week after we got to Kuwait.  We had to leave Kuwait, go to Bahrain to get our work permit to work in Kuwait, as you can not go to Kuwait and get a work permit. It's the law. We also visited Bahrain for an educational conference which drew people from all over the middle east.
